My Last Minute

Though the fact that the last minute here is simultaneous with the last cigarette is sad enough by itself, it might not be the truly disquieting aspect of this highly concentrated, densified mini-drama. The most disquieting thing is possibly the face that appears on the computer screen at its very end: the ghost of childhood. The ghost of lost innocence, crushed hopes, missed opportunities. The life that could have been. A melancholy moment, a sad picture.
