The village of Reinsberg, Lower Austria on the level of its images. Idyllic green landscapes of mountains and meadows recur in paintings and postcards in interior spaces such as living rooms and taverns, thereby making the natural surroundings omnipresent.
SW-NÖ 04 "enters" places by examining their painted images. A refreshing video animation and a game of deception among various media.


As tourists with artistic ambitions we explore the image world of the town of Reinsberg, wandering through the paint-ings of the region that we find in the houses we visit during our stay there. Instead of creating conventional souvenir pictures by freezing moments, we thaw frozen snapshots by re-introducing the space-time axis.
