The film begins with the theme of a breaking wave, crashing down, disintegrating. This breaker starts rolling in again on a television screen from which the camera backs away. And there it is, all tiny, that colossal wave. Depicted like this, it is stripped at a stroke of its power and of its reality.
Without a sound, but with images having a remarkable power of sound suggestion, this film evokes white noise, that sound of parasites any television set emits when not tuned to a channel. (Yann-Olivier Wicht)
