From the Portfolio of Doggedness

Aus der Mappe der Menschlichkeit [From the Portfolio of Humanity] was the name of a weekly Red Cross leaflet widely distributed in Austria, to post-offices, churches, schools, etc. However, in my view the oppressive structure of society ruling in the 1960s was far from ensuring a humane existence in the democratic republic. To “walk upright” remained utopian, whence the title came Aus der Mappe der Hundigkeit, because a condition of humanity had not yet been attained. Society still forced people into a state of nature.
