Michael Petri

in Vöcklabruck, is an artist and filmmaker based in Vienna whose work deals with social and political issues, interwoven with personal and ambiguous aspects. He studied audiovisual media design in Linz and media art in Leipzig. Through the use of unexpected combinations of materials and experimental narrative techniques, he allows both the humor and the horror of the present to coexist.
