The monthly program series "Home Stories" started in November 1998 in cooperation with the Filmcasino in Vienna and was continued from March 2003 as "Home Stories +" in the Topkino. There were - quote from the program folder - "short feature films, documentaries and the avant-garde. Brand new and salvaged treasures from overgrown terrain were shown. The completion of a new, successful festival runner gave rise to a showcase of works and encounters with international productions were sought."

My artistic work revolves around themes of the built environment and urban living spaces, which are dealt with in different ways in the films selected for the program. Abstraction, narration and documentation are explored in an experimental approach. While in the animation Studio the spatial skeleton of one's own studio and e-mail messages become …

Wed May 13, 2015, 19:00 h

An excess of cross-fades, multiple exposures and color alienation color alienation invites you to a psychedelic frenzy of perception, which always thematizes the positioning of …

Deception and confusion, a sudden realisation thwarts an irritation. But can it be trusted? Is the analogue visible of digital origin? Or is everything different? The works collected here not only place high demands on pure "watching", a strongly formative, artistic will also directs the senses in all directions and raises questions that could not…

You’re the Devil in Disguise
Wed May 9, 2012, 19:00 h

The demonic has many faces and is often enough concealed in the most mundane when viewed closely. It's not just the image of devils, skulls and deformed bodies that gives us the shivers. Often the absence of the concretely creepy in an oppressive atmosphere is precisely the moment that triggers our imagination to create horror scenarios. All the f…
