HOW TO: Smocking Kitt

A keyword search through the film catalogue. No precise idea, but a rough direction: textile connection. A hunt for a programme we didn't know yet.
We experienced and got to know films together. We discussed, tested tastes and talked about our textile associations. In the end, eleven films made the cut into our programme.
In determining the order, there was a lot of rearranging and reordering. Rewatching passages. We managed to scatter textile references throughout the entire programme, whether through the used techniques, thematic focuses or the choice of materials. It was important to us to create a flow that is fun and coherent. Together, we created a programme that appeals to us not only artistically, but also personally.
The program is curated by Luna Brandner, Olha Fedorova, Lukas Greiderer, Laura Keller, Li Chi Lee, Martina Öttl, Anko Rachmad, Louise Wanda.
Followed by a discussion with the filmmakers.
